We will be delaying work reveals by another week to ensure we have enough time to get everyone a gift. The new reveal date is 25 August 11.59PM EDT.

If we need to delay work reveals again, we'll make another announcement closer to the new date.

We currently have two pinch hits available for claiming. Please refer to the latest pinch hits post if you'd like to claim a pinch hit.

With the new work reveals date announced, the remaining unclaimed pinch hits will be due 21 August 11.59PM EDT. If you currently have a pinch hit and would like an extension with your new date as 21 August, please email us at rarepairexmod@gmail.com as soon as possible.

Time sure flies when you're having fun! The deadline for assignments has passed! 🥳

What happens next?
We'll be working our way through assignments and defaulting participants who haven't requested an extension or submitted a completed work. After this, we'll be posting our post-deadline pinch hits for claiming. We expect this all to happen in the next 24 hours.

Please make sure your work is not in draft. If it is, we will consider you as defaulted.

If you have changed your username since assignments went out and haven't informed us, please do so as soon as possible via rarepairexmod@gmail.com

But I don't have a gift!
It's very likely your creator has an extension. You're welcome to reach out to us via rarepairexmod@gmail.com to confirm.

• We also have a Pinch Hitter's Prompts Post that our pinch hitters who aren't signed up to the exchange are welcome to post prompts for potential treats.



• We highly encourage participants to create treats! The more rare pairs, the better! You can use the AO3 app to find the fandoms and ships that have been requested for this round.

Assignments are due tomorrow, on August 4th, 11:59PM EDT! [Countdown] [In Your Timezone]

• If you need an extension, please reach out at rarepairexmod@gmail.com, with your AO3 username and the username of your recipient before 11:59PM EDT August 4. We are offering up to 72-hour extensions. Once the deadline has passed, we will default anyone who hasn't submitted their assignment and has no extension. A 'Post Deadline Pinch Hit' list will be posted shortly after.



• There are currently 10 pinch hits remaining! To claim a pinch hit, reply to that post (comments are screened) or email rarepairexmod@gmail.com with your AO3 username and the pinch hit number you'd like to claim. While anon comments are on, please remember that you won't be able to see our reply. The minimum requirements are either a 1,000 word fic or a piece of clean lineart on unlined paper.
  
  We're only allowing a person to claim one pinch hit at a time, so if you already have one, please submit that assignment before trying to claim another.



• If you've claimed a pinch hit and aren't signed up to the exchange as a participant, we have a Pinch Hitter Prompt Post you're welcome to post to with a few requests. If you'd like to treat a pinch hitter, please take a look at the post.
