Barney Ross/Ray Owens
I rewatched The Last Stand recently on an Aging Action Heroes streak, and it was a lot more fun than I had remembered it to be. Arnold Schwarzenegger's Sheriff character trying to stop a bad guy going through his tiny town near the border, with eccentric help and the feds arriving just that little bit too late, but triumphing nonetheless because he is an Aging Action Hero.
So pair him with another Aging Action Hero Badass? :) Whether Sheriff Ray Owens *is* Trench from the Expendables, or related, or just mistaken for him at first and that's how he catches Barney Ross' attention, anything. Does some other bad guy the Expendables are chasing crash through Sommerton Junction? Or is Ray's mercenary boyfriend just visiting? I'd just love to see Ray and Barney interacting, with or without anyone else from their casts; really, anything would be great here.
Eliot Spencer/John Wick
Badasses equally strong in their own field, that can keep up and compliment each other, are a particular favorite trope of mine. Leverage is as much competence porn as John Wick is, in its own more humorous and less bloody way; seems like two great tastes might taste great together!
So - did John know Eliot during the latter's Moreau-era hitter days - another part of either's past that might come up to complicate his present? Might John have reached out to Eliot at some point during the events of the movies, for backup or a safe place to rest between fights? Or what if a Leverage investigation crossed with the assassin underworld? Eliot and his distinctiveness running up against the Baba Yaga, realizing *after* they're both bruised, bloody, and impressed that they're not actually foes, then wreaking hell upon the actual bad guy (and wrecking each other in more pleasurable ways afterward) seems like it might be a lot of fun. But whatever inspires you is sure to entertain me regardless.
I have seen all of Leverage and Leverage: Redemption and all four John Wick movies, but you can feel free to ignore the most recent developments of canon as you like. :)
Buffy Summers/Sean Renard
I always enjoy the idea of pairing Buffy up with badass men from other canons. And she *does* like a little monster in her man....
Is Buffy one of Sean's contacts post-Chosen, for things more on the supernatural than the wesen side? He does seem to have a lot of those around the world! Does she jump in to save his life from a demon at some point, and is surprised by his capability? Or vice versa? Or do they meet across the table in some negotiation, as he does with the Resistance? Lots of actiony and politicky and sexy possibilities, there. [And if later in Grimm canon, maybe she's able to talk him off the ledge a little before he gives in to Black Claw? :)]

My personal appreciation of it is along the lines of a budget knockoff Indiana Jones or the Brendan Fraser Mummy movies, and I enjoyed it very much for scratching that particular itch. :)
So give me more of Danny and Lexi, with or without their canon friends (and frenemies)! More adventures and mysteries, or more from their past, or sexy downtimes, or what happens next (between seasons, or post-Season 2, or in a canon-divergence AU), or more serious themes about justice and history if inspiration strikes. You can pretty much write whatever you want here that doesn't hit my DNWs and I'll enjoy it! Feel free to get as trope-y with it as you like; some form of 'magic is real' might be fun for this fandom, for example. Feel free to include angst, so long as it ends positively!

No, not the 2023 movie about Michael Jordan; the low-budget post-apocalyptic scifi movie starring Norman Reedus and Djimon Hounsou. :)
Movies like this one always leave me with so many questions. These guys have been trapped together, waking up from stasis only to bicker and spend a couple of hours checking on whether it's safe to revive their Noah's Ark facility yet and then go right back to sleep again when it isn't, for how many years? Clearly it hasn't been good for their mental health, and they weren't really prepared for their job or even friends beforehand. But they've bonded intensely anyway. Even after disaster strikes and they go straight for each other's throats, Bauer's practically last words are for Cartwright to take care of the wife he's been keeping a secret (and hallucinating) all that time, like he's fine with the fact that Cartwright won.
So tell me something else about these two guys stuck in post-apocalyptic hell keeping each other company! They clearly still have bodily functions, even if they're only awake a couple of hours at a time - do they ever sit down for actual meals? What were the first few panicky days like when they got sent there in the first place? What if the hallucinatory Abby (aka Cartwright's subconscious) started nudging him more in Bauer's direction to keep him a little saner? What else do they do together in those gaps between caretaking tasks? Might they ever get horny and blow off steam together, pretending until they can't anymore that that's just maintenance too? Do they ever wake up on any particular day of significance and bicker about that too - for example, Valentine's Day?
If you want to set it all before the events of the movie and not deal with Bauer's canon fate, that's fine; echoing the bottle theme in the fic! I could also see a fascinating fic if Cartwright starts hallucinating Bauer *and* his wife afterward, and Bauer doesn't go away even after everyone else wakes up in the epilogue. But I would be really thrilled if you found a way to save Bauer, even - or especially - if that complicates things more afterward. :)

For this exchange: what if Hawley had been a little more invested from the start; or perhaps came back, and yep, still had a crush on Abbie? He's a little more Indiana Jones than Ichabod is, and I am definitely here for any way you want to write them together, from some fun canon-like adventurousness to some flavor of magic consequences pushing them together or Abbie getting drawn more into his job for once or their involvement with each other changing canon for the better. Or even just fluff of them together!
OK to include Ichabod: he and Abbie worked together well as witnesses and friends. Just don't make him into a jealous obstacle - leave him to his drama with Katrina this time. :) I also loved the complicated relationship between the sisters Mills and how it gradually strengthened over the show; how their past continued to have repercussions but ultimately didn't define them. So if you want to deal with the fallout of Jenny having dated Hawley in the past, that's fine too. But any story where Abbie's ultimately happy, properly appreciated, and still saving the world would be perfect to me.

I've always been fond of a good scenery-chewing historically-set movie with magical elements and pretty people to look at; this movie was pretty much tailor made to my tastes. And I still want to see more exploration of the world it set up!
All the clever/quippy character interactions, the loose mix and match with elements from the greater legendarium, the hero's journey arc, the twists on expectations, the excellent soundtrack, the excellent scenery (human and otherwise) - I enjoyed it all. I'm totally OK with seeing the dirty side of this 'verse as well as the upside; but I'm not looking for downer endings. I just want to see some more historical-fantasy fun with this new Arthur and his crew.
Art/Wet Stick:
These two obviously have a lot of shared history; they grew up in the same neighborhood if not the same brothel and once they were big and strong enough, took the brothel over (with Backlack) and ran most of the other "business" in the area. Also, after Arthur's adventure in the Darklands, when he's come back obviously injured-- Tristan gets up to help him with a concerned expression like that's something he's used to doing, before Arthur has an attack of pride and shakes him off. That moment implied all kinds of possibilities to me! Any kind of friends-to-lovers or friends-and-lovers stories story would work well for me with them, at any point in the timeline, from growing up to developing the business to keeping company during the rebellion to how to deal with things sensibly once he's been crowned and still needs heirs....
Art/The Mage:
For all that they never name her on screen, Arthur has a pretty breathtaking amount of trust in the Mage by the end of the movie; I adore her brusqueness and matter-of-fact use of her abilities and relatively practical sense of style. Bedivere dreamt her coming, so we know she can communicate that way; does she use this for advice/sexytimes/anything else with Arthur during or after the events of the movie? Also, part of her reason for being there has to be to reestablish peace between mages and the rest of the realm - show me something post-canon! Who is she really, Merlin or Nimue or Guinevere or someone else from the wider stable of legends? Or none of the above? Anything you write with them would be lovely.

Harvey, Roman, and Tommy are all peers/old school friends of Bruce’s who have beef with both Bruce Wayne and Batman. They also all have a less than friendly history with Jason.
Thinking some kind of arranged/forced/coerced relationship where they end up with total control of Bruce Wayne’s/Batman’s son and Jason has no options for getting away, both legally and because they keep him under lock and key. Maybe some public displays to make Bruce uncomfortable (especially if public displays of sexual punishment/violence/etc. is legal and socially acceptable for subs).

I rewatched The Last Stand recently on an Aging Action Heroes streak, and it was a lot more fun than I had remembered it to be. Arnold Schwarzenegger's Sheriff character trying to stop a bad guy going through his tiny town near the border, with eccentric help and the feds arriving just that little bit too late, but triumphing nonetheless because he is an Aging Action Hero.
So pair him with another Aging Action Hero Badass? :) Whether Sheriff Ray Owens *is* Trench from the Expendables, or related, or just mistaken for him at first and that's how he catches Barney Ross' attention, anything. Does some other bad guy the Expendables are chasing crash through Sommerton Junction? Or is Ray's mercenary boyfriend just visiting? I'd just love to see Ray and Barney interacting, with or without anyone else from their casts; really, anything would be great here.
Eliot Spencer/John Wick
Badasses equally strong in their own field, that can keep up and compliment each other, are a particular favorite trope of mine. Leverage is as much competence porn as John Wick is, in its own more humorous and less bloody way; seems like two great tastes might taste great together!
So - did John know Eliot during the latter's Moreau-era hitter days - another part of either's past that might come up to complicate his present? Might John have reached out to Eliot at some point during the events of the movies, for backup or a safe place to rest between fights? Or what if a Leverage investigation crossed with the assassin underworld? Eliot and his distinctiveness running up against the Baba Yaga, realizing *after* they're both bruised, bloody, and impressed that they're not actually foes, then wreaking hell upon the actual bad guy (and wrecking each other in more pleasurable ways afterward) seems like it might be a lot of fun. But whatever inspires you is sure to entertain me regardless.
I have seen all of Leverage and Leverage: Redemption and all four John Wick movies, but you can feel free to ignore the most recent developments of canon as you like. :)
Buffy Summers/Sean Renard
I always enjoy the idea of pairing Buffy up with badass men from other canons. And she *does* like a little monster in her man....
Is Buffy one of Sean's contacts post-Chosen, for things more on the supernatural than the wesen side? He does seem to have a lot of those around the world! Does she jump in to save his life from a demon at some point, and is surprised by his capability? Or vice versa? Or do they meet across the table in some negotiation, as he does with the Resistance? Lots of actiony and politicky and sexy possibilities, there. [And if later in Grimm canon, maybe she's able to talk him off the ledge a little before he gives in to Black Claw? :)]

No, not the 2023 movie about Michael Jordan; the low-budget post-apocalyptic scifi movie starring Norman Reedus and Djimon Hounsou. :)
Movies like this one always leave me with so many questions. These guys have been trapped together, waking up from stasis only to bicker and spend a couple of hours checking on whether it's safe to revive their Noah's Ark facility yet and then go right back to sleep again when it isn't, for how many years? Clearly it hasn't been good for their mental health, and they weren't really prepared for their job or even friends beforehand. But they've bonded intensely anyway. Even after disaster strikes and they go straight for each other's throats, Bauer's practically last words are for Cartwright to take care of the wife he's been keeping a secret (and hallucinating) all that time, like he's fine with the fact that Cartwright won.
So tell me something else about these two guys stuck in post-apocalyptic hell keeping each other company! They clearly still have bodily functions, even if they're only awake a couple of hours at a time - do they ever sit down for actual meals? What were the first few panicky days like when they got sent there in the first place? What if the hallucinatory Abby (aka Cartwright's subconscious) started nudging him more in Bauer's direction to keep him a little saner? What else do they do together in those gaps between caretaking tasks? Might they ever get horny and blow off steam together, pretending until they can't anymore that that's just maintenance too? Do they ever wake up on any particular day of significance and bicker about that too - for example, Valentine's Day?
If you want to set it all before the events of the movie and not deal with Bauer's canon fate, that's fine; echoing the bottle theme in the fic! I could also see a fascinating fic if Cartwright starts hallucinating Bauer *and* his wife afterward, and Bauer doesn't go away even after everyone else wakes up in the epilogue. But I would be really thrilled if you found a way to save Bauer, even - or especially - if that complicates things more afterward. :)

For this exchange: what if Hawley had been a little more invested from the start; or perhaps came back, and yep, still had a crush on Abbie? He's a little more Indiana Jones than Ichabod is, and I am definitely here for any way you want to write them together, from some fun canon-like adventurousness to some flavor of magic consequences pushing them together or Abbie getting drawn more into his job for once or their involvement with each other changing canon for the better. Or even just fluff of them together!
OK to include Ichabod: he and Abbie worked together well as witnesses and friends. Just don't make him into a jealous obstacle - leave him to his drama with Katrina this time. :) I also loved the complicated relationship between the sisters Mills and how it gradually strengthened over the show; how their past continued to have repercussions but ultimately didn't define them. So if you want to deal with the fallout of Jenny having dated Hawley in the past, that's fine too. But any story where Abbie's ultimately happy, properly appreciated, and still saving the world would be perfect to me.

I've always been fond of a good scenery-chewing historically-set movie with magical elements and pretty people to look at; this movie was pretty much tailor made to my tastes. And I still want to see more exploration of the world it set up!
All the clever/quippy character interactions, the loose mix and match with elements from the greater legendarium, the hero's journey arc, the twists on expectations, the excellent soundtrack, the excellent scenery (human and otherwise) - I enjoyed it all. I'm totally OK with seeing the dirty side of this 'verse as well as the upside; but I'm not looking for downer endings. I just want to see some more historical-fantasy fun with this new Arthur and his crew.
Art/Wet Stick:
These two obviously have a lot of shared history; they grew up in the same neighborhood if not the same brothel and once they were big and strong enough, took the brothel over (with Backlack) and ran most of the other "business" in the area. Also, after Arthur's adventure in the Darklands, when he's come back obviously injured-- Tristan gets up to help him with a concerned expression like that's something he's used to doing, before Arthur has an attack of pride and shakes him off. That moment implied all kinds of possibilities to me! Any kind of friends-to-lovers or friends-and-lovers stories story would work well for me with them, at any point in the timeline, from growing up to developing the business to keeping company during the rebellion to how to deal with things sensibly once he's been crowned and still needs heirs....
Art/The Mage:
For all that they never name her on screen, Arthur has a pretty breathtaking amount of trust in the Mage by the end of the movie; I adore her brusqueness and matter-of-fact use of her abilities and relatively practical sense of style. Bedivere dreamt her coming, so we know she can communicate that way; does she use this for advice/sexytimes/anything else with Arthur during or after the events of the movie? Also, part of her reason for being there has to be to reestablish peace between mages and the rest of the realm - show me something post-canon! Who is she really, Merlin or Nimue or Guinevere or someone else from the wider stable of legends? Or none of the above? Anything you write with them would be lovely.

The appeal of these pairings to me is the unapologetically wicked characters who are only loosely allied and constantly trying to gain the upper hand over each other having their way with Jason who is maybe not fully comfortable with the kinds of things Owls are a part of, but is happy to finally be a part of a family and feel any kind of usefulness/acceptance, even if it's exploitative and abusive.

We actually don't know much about how he came back to life in this universe and he's clearly still not completely back to himself when we do finally meet him (though he recognizes Dick and Ra's says his memories are finally returning). Basically, Jason spent a great deal of time with everyone who loved and cared about him thinking he was dead while he was actually with the League of Shadows and The Light.
Anything that fills in the blanks of his existence (which is pretty much everything) in this verse is welcome, particularly if people in positions of power take advantage of Jason's naivete/insecurity before his death, or his catatonic state after his resurrection. The YJ verse has a lot of mind-fuckery options for fun dark AU's. (and I'm out of space again so check the letter!)
I really, really like sexual slavery/sex slave AUs with their 24/7 elements training, treating people like property, treating characters as though they’re nothing more than a warm hole, and their utter lack of agency and free will for the enslaved character.
I have a hard time seeing these pairings as consensual but if that's your preference and you want to use one of these pairings over any other the other requests, then maybe just some PWP with heavy BDSM elements where Jason is using one of them to punish himself?
