Our final nominations clarification post is the smallest of this round! Thank you to everyone who has informed us of wandering tags and duplicates. Please check your nominations and their fandoms to ensure there aren't duplicates—we won't be able to remove these once sign-ups open.

We have a few queries regarding a small handful of nominations, and we would appreciate advice from the nominator or anyone with canon knowledge.

Not the nominator, and not sure if it's too late to change, but "Garyuu Kyouya/Ichijou Mikumo/Ichiyanagi Yumihiko (AA)" would probably be more recognizable to most English speaking AA fans with their localized names, "Klavier Gavin/Kay Faraday/Sebastian Debeste (AA)"

Hi! Not the nominator, but the ships for The Untamed and MDZS aren't crossovers.

The one from The Untamed is characters that lived significantly earlier than the show is set, but (and someone can correct me if I'm wrong) I believe both are mentioned in the show. Wen Mao definitely is. The disambiguation probably says MDZS because the show and the book it's based on share characters/ships.

I mean technically they could be? Every canonical ship for The Untamed and MDZS would automatically populate in both fandoms if there was nothing in place to keep it from doing that. But in practice for every exchange I've been in that asks for disambiguation of noms they don't put them in both. The Untamed is a distinct adaptation of MDZS with a different timeline/different characterization/entirely new elements that aren't in the book. So I assume the nominators chose which version they wanted. It's a lot like the Narnia movies being nominated separately from the books.

Not the nominator, but re: Achroma | Colress (Pokemon: Black 2 & White 2)/Giima | Grimsley (Pokemon: Black & White), another option would be to move it to Pocket Monsters | Pokemon (Main Video Game Series) as it covers all of the Pokémon main games (including both BW and B2W2.)

This is also how and why the Sword and Shield ships have been duplicated (and some of the ships have traveled around.) It's fairly common for Pokémon gameverse ships to be all nominated under Main Video Game Series for exchanges since it is (by and large) all one shared universe, with a few exceptions.

As I'm not (one of?) the Sword and Shield nominator(s?), though, I don't know if they'd prefer their ships to stay separated.

Hello! I nominated the relevant tags in Pocket Monsters | Pokemon (Main Video Game Series! I'm fine with either fandom being chosen to host the SwSh tags. I've simply gotten used to using the overarching fandom tag in exchanges.

Also, the tag Achroma | Colress/Giima | Grimsley (Pokemon MVGS) already exists in Pocket Monsters | Pokemon (Main Video Game Series), so it'd be fine to delete the duplicate in crossovers.

I would personally propose sticking everything under Dragon Age (Video Games), since some of the nominated ships incorporate characters from multiple games already, and the games do form a connected narrative, with many characters showing up in multiple games, or at least mentioned.

Hi, there's quite a few duplicates in Star Wars: Bad Batch, mostly due to some nominations using the official CT numbers and some just using the character names:

Thanks! Just for clarification, are the pairings that you listed the duplicates and they all have versions using their CT numbers?

We don't have a specific rule, as we are aware some nominators use the piping, but others don't so we just let them pick what works for them. :)
