A summary of the canon: A modern guy transmigrates into a historical novel... as a fish. He becomes the pet fish of one of the princes and eventually becomes his love interest (as he gets a human form back at least partially). He marries his prince and has a bunch of babies with him. Generally humorous tone, palace intrigue.
What do you love about this ship/these ships?: I actually discovered this novel bc someone wrote a SVSSS Bingqiu AU using the plot of DTPPF as inspiration. Li Yu reminds me a lot of Shen Qingqiu in personality. Mu Tianchi dotes on him! They are very cute together and also good parents. Watching them figure each other out before they got together was very entertaining!
What sort of things are you likely to request for it?: Canon-adjacent content... post-canon, missing scenes, canon divergence
Content warnings: Mu Tianchi is mute. However, he does become healed of that disability by the end of the novel, which I understand is not to everyone's taste. There is canon mpreg and the kind of violence that generally accompanies Ancient Chinese palace intrigues.
