Another one week delay

We will be delaying work reveals by another week to ensure we have enough time to get everyone a gift. The new reveal date is 25 August 11.59PM EDT.

If we need to delay work reveals again, we'll make another announcement closer to the new date.

We currently have two pinch hits available for claiming. Please refer to the latest pinch hits post if you'd like to claim a pinch hit.

With the new work reveals date announced, the remaining unclaimed pinch hits will be due 21 August 11.59PM EDT. If you currently have a pinch hit and would like an extension with your new date as 21 August, please email us at rarepairexmod@gmail.com as soon as possible.

Forgive me for asking, but is there a plan if the remaining pinch hits never get claimed?

Hi,

We've delayed the work reveals by two weeks from its initial reveal date, which we feel is a standard delay amongst exchanges. We are advertising the pinch hits in places that we're aware of, however; we're very appreciative of — and highly encourage — any participants advertising them in fandom spaces that we're not familiar with to get more eyes on them, especially given the fact that this is a rare pair exchange.

We are not worried about the pinch hits never being claimed as our participants and pinch hitters have been working hard to help us get to the point where we can open the exchange.

Would it be possible for the people who need pinch hits to add an extra fandom/relationship request to up the chance of someone being able to fulfil it?

Hi!

All our pinch hits were claimed a handful of hours after your question, but because we don't want to leave anything unanswered: We intended to ask participants during one of our mods' evening hours if they wished to add fandoms. We wanted to be patient and allow potential pinch hitters to prep before reaching out to participants (and also ensure that we were doing so when one of the mods was available to action this).
