Rare Pair Exchange

Rare Pair Exchange - 2026.

2026-06-30T07:32:13Z

Posted by: rarepairmod

Hello Pears,

Rare Pair Exchange won't be running this year (2026). I'm experiencing burnout and have coursework gearing up that I need to focus on during this half of the year. I apologise for disappointing anyone who was keen for Rare Pair this year.

Keep an eye out on the event communities (fandomcalendar is a good one) for any rare pair fests or events that crop up!

Since the community has a big following, I'm happy to link any rare pair-themed events in this post.

Take care!

Creators revealed! 🥳

Posted by: rarepairmod

Behold, your creators! Creators are now revealed, and we have come to the end of Rare Pair Exchange's 2025 round.

You have until the opening of the next round's sign-ups to comment on your gifts to be eligible to participate next year. Please do so!

Thank you all for a great round! We have amazing works in our collection. Please continue browsing and leaving comments even with anonymity lifted! (Maybe consider checking out works from previous years, too!)

The collection is now unmoderated. Treats are welcome!

Feedback

I have a few things that I'd appreciate feedback on. Please feel free to provide your thoughts on everything or a select few.

1. Rare Pair Exchange currently doesn't have a "home" month. We will clash with exchanges no matter what, but I endeavour not to clash with rarefemslashexchange and raremaleslashex, as we share the same theme.

I'd like to hear from people who participate in both or one if August is a good time of year for Rare Pair Exchange to run. Does it clash? (I don't believe it does.) My goal is to have little to no overlap with those exchanges, but recognise there is a chance we might given delays.

I cannot host this exchange during Battleship or November and December. I am considering moving the exchange to earlier in the year, even if it happens to clash with my other exchange (that's caseficexchange — a shameless little plug).

2. Did the schedule work? I compressed it this year by shortening the nominations, sign-ups, and creation periods as I felt previous rounds were too long for a 1k minimum exchange. I wish to follow this compressed timeline as I felt it worked well.

3. Did you like the extension deadline added to this year's schedule? (I did and will most likely add it again, but would like to hear from participants! I'll be finessing the schedule based on my experience with it and posting pinch hits.)

4. Did Sundays work as a deadline? I live in AEDT/AEST, which means I have to +1 the day (which I'm fine with doing). Sundays EST/EDT meant it was Monday AEST/AEDT. I'm looking to make the deadline either Friday or Sunday. Please let me know your preferences.

5. How do participants feel about being able to request one fandom and one ship, but with no guarantee of receiving a gift?

If we proceed with this, I will be adding to the schedule a deadline for when participants can add additional fandoms/ships to ensure that the workload in finding pinch hitters is manageable for me.

6. I am considering trialling Google form nominations next year. The workload during this phase of the exchange is intense, and I wouldn't have been able to get through the number of nominations without the help of tagmods. I was reviewing/approving nominations during work and I want to avoid doing that next year. (I also don't want tagmods doing that, either!)

If I cannot get a minimum of 5 tagmods next year, I will be pursuing Google nominations as an option. The reason for this is that I continued to get blocked by AO3 for the number of times I was accessing the site, which slowed me down and was understandably very frustrating. By going through Google nominations, the onus of proving the nomination eligibility will be on the nominator and will hopefully cut down some of the time spent working through over 3,900 nominations.

7. I am also considering decreasing the number of fandoms and relationships people can nominate. It's currently set to 10 fandoms with 10 relationships. I'm happy to take suggestions on what number I should decrease this to.

*

Please feel free to leave feedback on how you found the round and if you have any further suggestions. I appreciate all feedback, but I will be implementing what works for me as a moderator.

You're welcome to send your feedback to rarepairexmod@gmail.com if you'd prefer it be private.

I will do my best to acknowledge all feedback, but please be patient with me — I intend to take a little break from wearing my mod hat. :)

Thank you again for a great round! See you next year. 🍐

A gift for you, a gift for you, a gift for you: Works revealed!

2025-10-27T04:02:38Z

Posted by: rarepairmod

Hello Pears,

Let's party! Works are revealed for Rare Pair Exchange's 2025 collection! 🥳 Enjoy the collection! Please consider leaving comments on the works you like.

Please remember that commenting on your gift(s) is mandatory in this exchange.

Please email me at rarepairexmod@gmail.com with your AO3 username as soon as possible if:

you have completed your assignment and haven't received a gift

your gift is incomplete (include a link to the gift)

your gift does not match your request (fandom, relationships, or medium) with a link to your gift (please provide details)

your gift incorporates any of your DNWs (include the link to your gift and details of the DNW violation so I can investigate further).

Treats

Treats are welcome! The collection will remain moderated until creator reveals, so you may find your work is visible but not officially in the collection as soon as you submit it. I will approve these as quickly as possible!

If you're looking for someone to treat, you can access participant requests via the AO3 app and treat a pinch hitter.

Treats do not have to meet the minimum word count (or equivalent) requirement, although they must feature a requested relationship and medium.

Creator reveals

Works will remain anonymous for one week, with creators revealed and our exchange round closing on Sunday 2 November at 11:59pm EDT. [ In your timezone + Countdown ]

Please note I have an appointment on this day, so creator reveals may be delayed by a few hours. Please plan your commenting/reading/listening accordingly. I'm fine with this section of the exchange being delayed as we are at the very, very end of our round and some extra time spent with anonymous works is fun! I hope that everyone enjoys browsing the collection while we're still in our anonymous phase.

*

Thank you to our participants, pinch hitters, betas, and cheerleaders! 💛

See you in a week for the conclusion of Rare Pair Exchange 2025!

Hello, Pears!

I have some good news and some bad news.

The bad news is that you have until before 11:59pm on Sunday 26 October (EDT) to make your last round of edits on your works.

We are opening the collection on Sunday 26 October at 11:59pm EDT! (That's the good news!) [ In your timezone + Countdown ]

Thank you to our pinch hitters!

If you're still eager to create for the exchange, please consider treating a pinch hitter or writing a treat for a participant. Treats do not have to meet the minimum word count and equivalent requirements.

If you're a participant who has completed your assignment and you do not have a gift, please contact me at rarepairexmod@gmail.com by Thursday 23 October at 11:59pm EDT with your AO3 username so I can investigate.

Please be aware that I will be AFK on Saturday 25 October EDT (or Sunday 26 October AEDT, which is my local timezone) for the entire day as I will be attending an event. If you email me on this day, I will do my best to get back to you the following day. (The collection reveals on my Monday.)

See you soon! :) 🥳

Offer for pinch hit requesters.

2025-10-07T20:57:00Z

Posted by: rarepairmod

Hello, Pears!

If you are a pinch hit who would like to add fandoms from the tagset to your request, please email rarepairexmod@gmail.com with the following information (please provide it as it appears in the tagset):

AO3 username:

Fandom:
Relationship(s):
Medium(s):
Optional details: Your likes, DNWs, etc.

You can only request a maximum of 10 requests. Please indicate if I'm to add a ship to one of your existing requests.

Please email me by Sunday 12 October at 11:59pm EDT [ In your timezone + Countdown. ] so your additional requests can be added to your sign-up before the new pinch hits post is published.

I emailed participants who were initial pinch hits before our post-deadline pinch hits were confirmed with this offer, so I thought I would extend this via Dreamwidth again in case those emails were missed. You are not obligated to add fandoms if you do not want to.

If you are interested in taking a pinch hit but need more time than the current deadline (Sunday 12 October at 11:59pm EDT), please reach out, as this deadline is negotiable.

Please email rarepairexmod@gmail.com if you have any questions.

Thank you!

Extensions are due tomorrow.

2025-09-28T00:19:22Z

Posted by: rarepairmod

Hello, Pears!

We have approximately one day until extensions are due. [ In your timezone + Countdown. ]

No further extensions will be given. Please default if you are unable to fulfil your request.

If you have been a pinch hit since assignments went out (see this post and our latest pinch hits post if you need to check), please check your emails, as I have sent you an email offering you the chance to add additional fandoms at the start of the week. You are not obligated to reply or take me up on this offer, but if you wish to, please reply by the extension deadline so I can finalise our next pinch hit post. (Participants who have less than 10 requests received an email.)

We have several wonderful pinch hits available! A new post will be published after the extension deadline.

Please note I will no longer be taking beta search requests where I post in the Rare Pairs 3 EAD channel. You're more than welcome to email me if you'd like some suggestions on where to look for a beta!

Please email rarepairexmod@gmail.com (include your AO3 username) if you have any questions.

See you soon! :)

AO3 maintenance and the extension deadline.

2025-09-24T08:27:20Z

Posted by: rarepairmod

Hello Pears,

AO3 will be down for maintenance for about 20 hours, starting at 07:30 UTC on Friday 26 September. You can keep up to date with the status page.

As we have extensions due on Sunday 28 September at 11:59pm EDT, please consider this maintenance period for when you post your work. Someone has made a very handy in your timezone conversion with the 20-hour period so you can plan when to submit your completed work.

Please email rarepairexmod@gmail.com if you have any questions. Please remember that there will be no further extensions given.

See you in a few days! :)

This post is now inactive/out of date. Please see our active pinch hits for what's available.

We have great requests that are awaiting for a creator to fill them! Eight new pinch hits join our ranks, and PH 1 has added additional fandoms.

The PDPH deadline reflects a delay in the work and collection reveals, taking into account that we have extensions due in a week's time and may have defaults. (Please default if you cannot fulfil your assignment.) Pinch hitters who have the Sunday 28 September deadline (who did not request it as an extension) are welcome to request this deadline. No further extensions are available.

Two days until assignments are due!

2025-09-20T01:21:53Z

Posted by: rarepairmod

Hello Pears!

We have approximately two days before assignments are due. Please submit completed assignments by Sunday 21 September at 11:59pm EDT. [ In your timezone + Countdown. ]

If you know you cannot meet the deadline, please press the default button on your assignment before 11:59pm.

I will be mod-defaulting all no shows. Please default if you need to default.

Please ensure your work has been submitted and is not in draft form! Drafts are not considered complete gifts. You risk being mod-defaulted if your gift remains a draft by the deadline.

If you need an extension, you must request it before the assignment deadline passes. I offer Sunday 28 September at 11:59pm EDT as the only extension available for participants. [ In your timezone + Countdown. ]

Please email rarepairexmod@gmail.com, including your AO3 username and the AO3 username of your recipient in your request.

If you request an extension, you are agreeing to: 1) requesting only if you are reasonably certain you will be able to finish in this additional time and 2) if you have requested an extension and default or are a no-show default, you will not be able to request an extension in 2026's round. I do not need to know the reason why you need an extension.

Sunday 21-Sep edit: I'm AFK on and off today, so all extensions asked before 11:59pm EDT will be granted, even if I don't respond before 11:59pm EDT.

Pinch hits will be posted sometime on Monday 22 September (most likely late in the AEST evening). We will have several new pinch hits added to the fruit bowl. (If you would like to claim a current pinch hit before the PDPHs are posted, please reach out.)

There is a good chance the collection opening will be delayed. I will confirm this next weekend once all the extensions are due.

Please email rarepairexmod@gmail.com if you have any questions.

See you soon! :)

Treats for pinch hitters.

2025-09-08T07:54:30Z

Posted by: rarepairmod

We couldn't run the exchange without our pinch hitters!

If you're a pinch hitter who isn't signed up as a participant for 2025's round who would like to put yourself forward for a gift, please drop yourself on this post with your request(s)!

We have a few guidelines:

Please use the tagset to select fandoms and pairings that were accepted for this round.

Treats for pinch hitters do not need to meet our minimum requirement for a completed gift, although the gift needs to be completed/be able to standalone as its own story (whether that be art, fic, or podfic).

Prompts or links to letters (past or one specifically for this exchange) are optional and are very welcome.

Please list any DNWs in your comment.

Please do not reveal who you are pinch hitting for in your comment.

You can find our full guidelines in our rules post.

If you have a question regarding a pinch hitter's request, please email rarepairexmod@gmail.com with your questions.

Please make sure your AO3 settings allow you to receive gifts outside of the exchanges you've signed up for as a participant.

I've provided a suggested format to post below, although you're welcome to post however you like as long as the information you provide is useful for a potential treater.

AO3 username: Please ensure you let us know your AO3 so you can receive a gift!
Fandom:
Relationships: What are you requesting from the requested fandom?
Mediums: (Art, fic, podfic, a combo, or all)
Likes: These are optional.
Do Not Wants:
Letter Link: If you have one.

AO3 username: <user name="USERNAME HERE" site="archiveofourown.org"> Fandom: Relationships: Mediums: Likes: Do Not Wants: Letter Link:

You're welcome to repeat this as many times as you like. Anon comments are allowed on this post.

Please note we do not guarantee gifts for pinch hitters, but please still consider dropping yourself onto this post. If you're interested in pinch hitting, please check out our available pinch hits.

Thank you again for participating, and I hope you have a good time being a part of our third round!

Offer and find a beta!

2025-08-23T22:01:04Z

Posted by: rarepairmod

This is the beta post for the 2025 round of Rare Pair, where those interested in providing support can pop their details on our 'find your beta' market stall. Support can include brainstorming, offering critique, canon-checking, fact-checking, tips on structure, language issues, looking for specialised knowledge of various kinds, sense-checking that something makes sense, visual effects for comics, and audio effects for podfic.

Participants and non-participants are welcome to volunteer to beta.

Quick links: AO3 app · Promote your ships

I've provided an optional template to fill out below, which you're welcome to add and subtract details from:

AO3 name:
Best contact method(s): Please only include details that you are happy to have public.

Fandoms:

Specific topics of expertise:

Mediums: We allow comics, fic, and podfic in this exchange, so please specify which medium(s) you're comfortable working with.

What can you beta?: This is a good opportunity to include content (smut, graphic violence, etc.), length (the minimum is 1k for fic, the equivalent of one panel for art, and various lengths of time for podfic).

What will you not beta?:

Preferred file formats: Would you prefer to beta in Google docs or PDFs? How would you like audio files to be sent, if you have any preference?

Availability: This is a good place to mention if you're okay with being contacted five days out from the assignment deadline, your turnaround times, i.e. will it take you a week to review? Is it dependent on the size?

AO3 name: Best contact method(s): Fandoms: Specific topics of expertise: Mediums: What can you beta?: What will you not beta?: Preferred file formats: Availability:

If you're interested in contacting someone offering to beta, please do so at their contact methods to preserve anonymity. If you want to find a beta, you're welcome to email me and I can ask on your behalf on the Exchanges After Dark Discord server in the #rare-pairs-3 channel (although I cannot guarantee you will get any responses).

Please email rarepairexmod@gmail.com if you need to get in touch with me to ask any questions.

I stole the base of this from fffx and yuletide and the words from caseficexchange ♥.

Assignments are out! A few reminders below.

2025-08-22T05:08:35Z

Posted by: rarepairmod

Your assignment has been sent! Please check your fruit basket for your rare pear assignment!

If your assignment does not match your offers, please get in touch ASAP at rarepairexmod@gmail.com. If you have any issues with your assignment, please contact me with your AO3 name, your recipient's AO3 name, and a description of the issue so I can sort this out for you.

Assignments are due Sunday 21 September at 11:59pm EDT. [ In your timezone + Countdown. ]

Please ensure you post to our AO3 collection and that your work has the correct recipient!

A few reminders:

Please review the rules/guidelines for anything about medium requirements, posting, extensions, and defaulting. We do allow treats to be given to the collection.

Please unlock your Dear Creator letters by Sunday 31 August so your creator and anyone looking to treat you can access your additional information. I will not be deleting letters from sign-ups or emailing participants about these.

Please email rarepairexmod@gmail.com with your recipient questions. Be sure to remember your AO3 username, your recipient's AO3 name, and your question.

You are welcome to be as detailed as possible in your question and provide decoy questions. (I am the type of mod who endeavours to try not to give away what fandom your recipient may be getting as I want them to be surprised, so please feel free to let me know your preferences regarding that.)

Please do not include any self-deprecating comments in your author's note and any identifying information, such as social media links. I will not be accepting works into the collection that contain any of these. Be proud of your work! Such notes negatively impact the recipient's experience and set a tone for the work that is not true.

You can add your social media links once the exchange is over! (I highly encourage you to do this! Just don't do it now.)

The collection is moderated. I cannot access drafts, so please be sure to press "submit" when your work is completed. I will review these to ensure that they match the request and meet the bare minimum requirements.

If you find your work is sitting in the moderation queue for more than three days, please email me your AO3 name and the title of your work so I can check to see if I have simply misread it as a draft.

Once your work has been accepted, you are welcome to continue editing it until the assignment deadline. When you submit your work, it must be completed by the time of submission. Please ensure you do not accidentally delete half your assignment as I may not be able to catch this at the time of reveals. (Save a copy of your assignment somewhere!)

If you submit your assignment and it is left in draft form by the assignment deadline, you will be considered defaulted.

If you are a pinch hit and you find that you have remained unclaimed for a few weeks, you are more than welcome to email me at rarepairexmod@gmail.com with additional requests.

I ask that the Rare Pair community remains positive about pinch hits; being a pinch hit is a great opportunity to be selected by someone who didn't have time to sign up for the round, but still wishes to create something for your rare pair!

Please whitelist rarepairexmod@gmail.com. If your creator has a question, you'll definitely want to answer!

We offer an extension for participants who require additional time. This extension is Sunday 28 September at 11:59pm EDT. [ In your timezone + Countdown. ]

If you request an extension, you are agreeing to: 1) requesting only if you are reasonably certain you will be able to finish in this additional time and 2) if you have requested an extension and default or are a no-show default, you will not be able to request an extension in 2026's round.

I do not need to know the reason why you need an extension.

Please email rarepairexmod@gmail.com with your AO3 name and recipient's AO3 name.

If you have extenuating circumstances, please get in touch ASAP.

We have a ship promo post that you're welcome to add to during the creation period.

What's coming up next:

Initial pinch hits will be posted in 24-48 hours from now.

A beta post.

A pinch hitter's treats post.

Thank you for joining me for our third round of Rare Pair! Please have fun creating. I can't wait to see what we end up adding to our fruit basket.

Talk about your ships!

2025-08-13T00:14:37Z

Posted by: rarepairmod

If you love talking about your favourite ships or are currently on the hunt to become obsessive about something new, this is a great post for you! Some of the rare ships in the tagset belong to rare canons, so this is a great place to promote canons for others to get into. (This is also a great place to give additional ways to consume the canon for potential pinch hitters and treaters.)

You can use the form below to get started. (You don't have to if you don't want to, but we advise trying to make your comment easy to read.)

Canon:

Ships:

Media:

A summary of the canon:

What do you love about this ship/these ships?:

What sort of things are you likely to request for it?:

Content warnings:

How can we consume this canon?:

A few things to consider:

Please try to keep your thirst to one comment.

Please try to limit the number of gifs and videos you post, if you choose to provide some supportive material. (We recommend any more than one gif/video that you can link for anyone with a slower Internet connection.)

Please link and mark anything that is NSFW, especially if you're posting gifs/videos. (We'd also appreciate trigger warnings for the big triggers. If you think it needs a trigger warning, please add it.)

Please remember that this post may contain triggering topics due to canon content that may or may not be warned for, so please view the content at your own discretion.

You can also use this post to ask for canon recs. We recommend advising what you're looking for (a particular medium or a canon that's so many hours long?)—and it wouldn't hurt to mention what kind of ship dynamics/tropes you're into since that's why we're here!

This post won't be moderated closely. Please email rarepairexmod@gmail.com if you feel something is getting out of hand or isn't appropriate.

Thanks to yuletide for the inspiration for the form.

Nominations for 2025 are closed! 🥳

2025-08-11T04:06:34Z

Posted by: rarepairmod

Nominations are closed! I will be working through the remaining nominations that have yet to be reviewed. I do not have any plans on posting another query post, although I will if I have any questions.

A huge thank you to the tagmods for helping me tackle our massive nominations dashboard! We have over 3,000 nominations and I would not have been able to climb that mountain as quickly as I did without you. You have been a tremendous help. ♥

*

In the meantime, please have a look at the tagset, specifically what you're interested in requesting and offering, and let me know if you see any errors such as duplicates or strange typos by Tuesday 12 August at 11:59pm EDT. [ In your timezone. ] The tagset will be finalised by this time and will not be changing for any edit requests.

When flagging errors, please provide the fandom and the nomination as it sits in the tagset so I can easily find them! Thank you to everyone who has already flagged duplicates and errors!

Sign-ups will open on Wednesday 13 August, time unspecified. Please be aware that Tuesday 12 August at 11:59pm EDT. [ In your timezone. ] is the deadline for 2024's participants to have commented on their gifts from that round. Here is a handy link for the 2024 collection. (If your nominations are fine, perhaps have a look around at our previous collections and comment on some of the gifts! We have fantastic works in our collections!)

Thoughts on fandom

Fantastic Four (2025) vs Marvel Cinematic Universe
I have several nominations for Fantastic Four: First Steps characters, but we have them split across MCU and FF:FS in the nominations dashboard. Did the nominators—or those who are interested in requesting/offering—oppose me placing them under "Fantastic Four (2025)"? I know that this movie is technically in the MCU, but as it takes place on another Earth, I'm considering accepting it as a different "continuity" to the other MCU relationships.

All the nominations that have been submitted for this sub-fandom are approved, even though, at the publishing of this post, I have not officially approved them yet. I just need to know where to put them.

*

Rejected nominations
If you oppose a rejection because it's eligible or I've made a mistake (it happens—I have been hit with AO3's "Retry Later" and "You're clicking too quickly" messages repeatedly over the last 48 hours that has reset my progress when approving nominations 😫), please let me know before 11:59pm on Tuesday 12 August so these nominations can be reinstated into the tagset.

These nominations were rejected during the last round of nomination review:

Harry Potter - J. K. Rowling
Neville Longbottom/Luna Lovegood (HP) - Over 250 works.

due South
Benton Fraser/Margaret Thatcher - Over 250 works.

Stranger Things (TV 2016)
Eleven | Jane Hopper/Maxine "Max" Mayfield (Stranger Things) - Over 250 works.
Maxine "Max" Mayfield/Lucas Sinclair (Strainger Things) - Over 250 works.

Quantum Leap (TV 1989)
Sam Beckett/Al Calavicci - Over 250 works.

Thank you!

Nomination queries #3 + reminder nominations close in a day.

2025-08-10T05:46:35Z

Posted by: rarepairmod

We have approximately one day left before nominations close. [ In your timezone + Countdown ] Please make sure you nominate what you want to request and/or offer, as I will not be adding any nominations once the nomination period closes.

Quick links: Nomination guidelines and tagset.

*

Duplicates/errors
Thank you to everyone who has flagged duplicates in the tagset.

If you see any duplicates/errors in the tagset, please flag them before Tuesday 12 August at 11:59pm EDT. [ In your timezone. ] I won't be editing any tags once the sign-up period commences.

*

Please amend fandom

Pocket Monsters: Scarlet & Violet | Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Versions
Haruto | Florian/Suguri | Kieran

Could the nominator please amend the fandom to "Pokemon Main Video Game Series", as that is the fandom we've placed other canon relationships under.

Jurassic Park - All Media Types
Billy Brennan/Alan Grant (JP)
Gray Mitchell/Zach Mitchell (JP)

We do not accept All Media Types. I will be amending Jurassic Park movie nominations (including Rebirth) to sit under "Jurassic Park (Movies)" as a fandom in the tagset.

*

Please renominate under Crossover Fandom

Star Wars - All Media Types
Poe Dameron (SW ST)/Jacen Syndulla (SW Ahsoka)

Multi-Fandom
Roberta (L'ultimo Terrestre)/Majid Zamari

As per this comment, it seems this relationship belongs under Crossover Fandom. Can the nominator please amend the disambiguations as per our crossover guidelines, too.

*

Rejected nominations
If your nomination is rejected and you have a case for why it shouldn't be (or if we have made a mistake), please discuss it with us before nominations close; otherwise it will remain rejected.

IT (Movies - Muschietti)
Any of The Losers/Pennywise (IT Movies)

We do not accept "Any" relationships.

Ted Lasso (TV)
Trent Crimm/Ted Lasso

Over 250 works.

Thank you!

Nomination queries #2.

2025-08-07T23:13:08Z

Posted by: rarepairmod

Thank you for pointing out duplicates! I will be removing them shortly — please keep letting me know if you see any duplicates/errors in the tagset as you see them.

Reminders:

We do not accept Canon Character/Reader nominations. These will be rejected without query.

Please disambiguate your nominations or risk these being rejected.

Please refer to the nominations guidelines before nominating.

We have a few queries. If I do not hear back from the nominators 24 hours after the publishing of this post, I will be rejecting the applicable nominations.

*

Renominate under correct fandom

Buffy the Vampire Slayer (TV)
Angel/Lindsey McDonald (Angel: the Series)
Larry Blaisdell/Daniel "Oz" Osbourne
Rupert Giles/Spike
Spike/Andrew Wells
Spike/Wesley Wyndam-Pryce
Xander Harris/Andrew Wells

Please renominate under "Buffyverse". If it is not, these nominations will be rejected.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians & Related Fandoms - All Media Types
Annabeth Chase/Piper McLean (PJO - AMT)
Annabeth Chase/Rachel Elizabeth Dare (PJO - AMT)
Annabeth Chase/Reyna Avila Ramírez-Arellano (PJO - AMT)
Rachel Elizabeth Dare/Reyna Avila Ramírez-Arellano (PJO - AMT)

Please renominate under the correct fandom as per our guidelines — are you after the book ("Percy Jackson - Riordan"), movie ("Percy Jackson (Movies)"), or TV show ("Percy Jackson TV")? If this is not renominated, these nominations will be rejected.

Appaloosa - All Media Types
Virgil Cole/Everett Hitch (Appaloosa)

We do not accept "All Media Types" nominations. We're happy to hear cases about why this should remain under the AMT umbrella from the nominator. If we don't hear back, or if this is not amended per our guidelines, this nomination will be rejected. Accepted as is.

Fire Emblem Series
Edelgard von Hresvelg (FE3H)/Karin (FE5)

The disambiguations dictate this is a crossover. Please renominate under "Crossover Fandom". This nomination will be rejected if it is not amended.

Real Person Fiction
Aaron Taylor-Johnson/Fred Hechinger
Aaron Taylor-Johnson/Original Female Character(s)

Please renominate under "Actor RPF".

苍兰诀 | Love Between Fairy and Devil (TV) RPF
Changheng/Dongfang Qingcang (Love Between Fairy and Devil)
Changheng/Dongfang Qingcang/Xiao Lanhua (Love Between Fairy and Devil)
Changheng/Xiao Lanhua (Love Between Fairy and Devil)
Dongfang Qingcang/Shangque (Love Between Fairy and Devil)
Dongfang Qingcang/Shangque/Xiao Lanhua (Love Between Fairy and Devil)
Jieli/Xiao Lanhua (Love Between Fairy and Devil)

This is nominated under an RPF tag, but it looks like all the relationships are fictional characters. Can the nominator please correct the fandom for this nomination, or explain why this should be accepted as is. This nomination set will be rejected if not amended/if case is not made. Accepted.

Final Fantasy VII Remake and Rebirth (Video Games 2020-2024)
Cloud Strife/Wedge

Should this be under "Compilation of Final Fantasy VII" as a fandom? Please amend the fandom or this nomination will be rejected. Accepted.

*

Queries

Multi-Fandom
Roberta (L'ultimo Terrestre)/Majid Zamari

This looks like it is fandoms thrown together under one umbrella. Is this a canon? (Google says it is fan-created content.) Or is this an AO3 canon? We will not accept this if this is an AO3 canon as it looks like recursive work. Please amend to Crossover Fandom and correctly disambiguate.

Severance (TV)
Irving B./Burt G.
Irving Bailiff/Burt Goodman

I am assuming this are the same characters nominated under different formats. Can someone canon familiar please confirm? Both tags accepted, assuming it's clear that they are asking for two different versions of the pairing.

*

Rejected nominations

If your nomination is rejected and you have a case for why it shouldn't be (or if we have made a mistake), please discuss it with us before nominations close; otherwise it will remain rejected.
